Why the change in Plan Pricing?<\/strong><\/h3>

Every year eephone will evaluate an increase in the cost of supplying Telecommunication services to our customers, this is due largely to the rising costs of wholesale telecommunication services. Other factors that may result in an increase are; network costs, market charges, and increases to our own costs primarily due to inflation.<\/p>

Our mobile plans include an annual price review and may increase by the Consumer Price Index (also known as CPI) in July each year.<\/p>

If we increase our prices in line with CPI, we\u2019ll notify existing customers. For customers who sign up for a new plan after an annual price rise takes effect, the plan pricing will include that year\u2019s price increase.<\/p>

We know that price rises can be hard and it\u2019s not a decision we take lightly. That\u2019s why we want to be upfront about our plan pricing, so you know what to expect and when.<\/p>

What is CPI and how will eephone apply it?<\/strong><\/h3>

CPI is the rate of inflation and is calculated annually by collecting prices for goods and services that households buy. It is measured as the rate of change of those prices, which typically rise over time.<\/p>

We\u2019ll use the CPI rate released by\u00a0Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS)<\/a>\u00a0for the 12 months to the March quarter and any increase will be rounded to the nearest dollar.<\/p>

I am an existing customer what does this mean for me?<\/strong><\/h3>

We review our mobile and data plan prices annually and may increase the prices of our plans in July, in line with CPI.<\/p>

Every year, following our review, we will decide whether or not to increase our mobile and data plans in line with CPI, rounded to the nearest dollar.<\/p>

The new prices will take effect from 1st<\/sup> of November that year, and you will be notified of any change to pricing, prior to the change being made.<\/p>

Does this mean prices will increase every year?<\/strong><\/h3>

We want to be upfront about when and how we review our mobile plan pricing each year, so you know what to expect and when. It\u2019s why we\u2019re reviewing prices every year and have indicated that we may change the price in July each year in line with CPI.
